this is me
I’m just your average gal trying to be a good wife and type 1 diabetic as I try to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. My husband and I live in Denver with our two dogs and when we aren’t skiing in the winter, we are busy working. I used to be a middle and high school art teacher but I didn’t love it so I have spent the last year trying to figure things out. Some things I have tried since my teaching days include Starbucks barista, student ministry director, tutor, and assistant painter for a mural and faux finish team. Currently, I work with severe, significant needs kids at a day treatment school where I enjoy the daily challenges and chaos. I love working with the kids but deep down, I’m just an artist at heart. I’m learning to be okay with that.
